How do I install EasyTabs on Windows?

  1. Download the Windows version of EasyTabs here and save it to your desktop.
  2. Navigate to your desktop and double-click the EasyTabs file you downloaded and follow the installation instructions.

How do I install EasyTabs on a Mac?

  1. Download the Mac version of EasyTabs here and save it to your desktop.
  2. In your Applications folder, create a new folder and name it EasyTabs.
  3. Navigate to your desktop and double-click the EasyTabs file you downloaded and unzip the files to the EasyTabs folder you created in step 2.

How do I backup my data?

  1. Locate your EasyTabs folder and open the Export directory.
  2. Zip the files in this directory (this was your last backup) and then delete them.
  3. Open EasyTabs and go to the Administration Tab.
  4. Click on the Delete/Import/Export Tab.
  5. Click on the EXPORT DATA button.
  6. Go to your Export folder and ensure files are in this folder (especially EXP_Contact and EXP_Receipt).
  7. Zip these files together and name appropriately (i.e.
  8. Move this zipped file to an external data source (i.e. another hard drive, zip drive, etc.) for future retrieval if needed.

How do I purchase EasyTabs?

  1. Click on the 'Purchase EasyTabs' link in the left hand navigation bar or click here.
  2. Select either the one (1), two (2) or three (3) year subscription option.
  3. You will be taken to our secure payment processor where you will complete the necessary fields to validate your purchase.
  4. Once your payment has been validated, you will be sent instructions to the e-mail address you provided. This is not instantaneous and may take up to an hour to process during normal working hours.

How do I upgrade EasyTabs?

  1. Open your current installation of EasyTabs.
  2. On the Delete/Import/Export tab, click 'Export Data' and click 'Continue'.
  3. After export, navigate to the EasyTabs folder on your hard drive and move the export folder to a safe place (you will need it after installation).
  4. After moving the export folder, delete the EasyTabs folder and all of it's contents.
  5. Visit out website (, click on Download Trial. Follow steps to download trial version onto your new computer. Install EasyTabs.
  6. Copy the export folder back to the new EasyTabs folder ****Please Note: do not move the export folder from the desktop to the EasyTabs folder, copy and paste it. This is the only copy you have and if you encounter a problem during installation, you will still have a copy of the export folder.
  7. Open EasyTabs on new computer as a trial version. Go to Administration Tab, then Delete/Import/Export tab.
  8. Click on "Import Data". Once import is done, click on "Reset Serial ID".
  9. Close EasyTabs and reopen. It should ask you to set a new account name and password. Follow instructions.
  10. Verify that your data has been imported correctly and that your expiry date is correct (click on About EasyTabs from the Main Menu).

My Client Statements are coming out blank.

  1. Client statements will come out blank if the category selected for the report does not match categories marked on the receipts.
  2. There is a small bug in the system that automatically enters "Massage Therapy" as the category when you create a new receipt. However, when performing the setup for your client statement the category drop down shows "Massage Therapy Tx". Therefore when it performs the search it is not finding any and thus giving you a blank page. To change the drop down in the client statement setup you need to go into a receipt and click on the "Category Tx" label (blue underlined). This will open up a window where you and add or modify what shows in this drop down box. Simply remove the " Tx" from the Massage Therapy line and click the close button. Return to your client statement and this should solve your problem.

How do I move/copy EasyTabs to another computer?

  1. Find the folder on your old computer where EasyTabs is installed and copy the entire folder to your new computer.
